Phuket FantaSea Show
FantaSea’s star cast includes 20 elephants, a menagerie of other animals and birds, acrobats and comedians. This is a show for the entire family and is the repeated winner of Thailand’s Tourism Award for the Best Attraction.
Phuket FantaSea is located in a sprawling 140-acre entertainment complex near Kamala village. It displays the charming and beautiful face of Thailand to the visitors with the help of some technology. Adults and children enjoy the Las Vegas-style extravaganza equally. The sound and visual treat offered with the help of men, animals and technology is worth watching.
In FantaSea, there is only one show daily, at 21.00hrs. The place is thrown open to visitors at 17.30 daily except Thursdays. Visitors are allowed to wander along the place until the buffet dinner. The dinner is served at the floating restaurant, The Golden Kinnaree Restaurant. It is located on a blue-colored lake right under the Golden Pavilion. This restaurant can seat 4000 diners at a time and serves international and Thai cuisines. The buffet timing is from 18.00 to 20.30.
The next stop is Festival Village, which is a shopping center, selling Thai products. Thai silk, jewelry, handicrafts, leather and souvenirs can be purchased here. While shopping, children will not be bored. They can play games at Hanuman’s Lair. There are entertainment facilities as well. The watchful staff will take care that children do not stray or roam around.
The gate for the FantaSea show opens at 20.30, though the show starts only at 21.00. If you want a good seat with a vantage view, better be ready at the gates when it opens. The setting for this show is the Palace of the Elephants. The architecture of the theater is essentially Thai-style with numerous elephant sculptures dotting the place. The atmosphere of Sukothai-period stone palace is recreated in the theater.
The Fantasy of a Kingdom show is a visual treat beyond compare. It was designed by local and international experts to produce a Las Vegas-style extravaganza. The main event comprises of nine eye-catching themes – acrobatics, Thai culture, 4-D illusions, aerial stunts, elephants and pyrotechnics. Elephant is an integral part of all Thai cultural shows. There is no show better than this in the entire Thailand.
